Prince of Thornes by Mark Lawrence

The prince of thornes is a young royal called Jorg Ancrath he’s charming witful and has many other qualities. He leads a band of merry men to go on a series of quests and pillages. As the world he lives in is very violent its kill or be killed. He ran away from home at a young age when his mother and brkther were horrificly murdered and he has decided to go back home and take what’s ritefully his the throne. On his travels Jorg does do some really nasty things which can be upsetting.  Since he’s a sociopath he has literraly has no remorse for his actions and nor his band of merry men (maybe thats the wrong terminology for a group of murderers) anyway. This book is written in the first person so your Jorg throughout the book minus all the horrible things he does it kind of makes you appreciate what Jorg is doing in a weird kind of way.  I’ve seen a few negative reviews about this book but I’d give it a 7/10 definitely worth a read even though it sometimes does feel as your grinding your way through the book just to get to the next chapter but then it feels like your reading the book so quick to keep up with the action that’s happening. Please enjoy this series of books if your looking for something new to read.
