Books vs E-readers

I’m literally going through this struggle right now. I love the feel and smell of a book. The cover designs and artwork in some books are amazing.

Then on the other hand you can literally have hundreds of books on an e-reader.

When reading in bed you don’t have to read at weird angles when holding a book and not worry about it landing on your face (especially if it’s a heavy book 😂)

You can have the book within seconds of you download it and be able to read it straight away.

For me I feel like have a better connection with a book that I’m physically touching than reading it on an e-readers. Especially if it’s an older book. I always wonder who else would’ve read this book before me and wondered if they enjoyed it.

Which would you prefer??

  1. Any form of book is good, it shouldn’t be a “only-one-wins”. e-book, audiobook, paperbook, original or translated (something native english speakers don’t think about: unless we know english, we’re limited. unless bookdepository ships: we’re limited. no second hand harry potter if you’re in Lithuania if you want it english (for whatever reasons that might be))
Just read. reading is what matters. not the form in which the book came
