One Book.

Just another short post here just passing some time away and avoiding some house chores that I really can’t be bothered with (getting the washing in 🀣)

So anyway onto the post.

Do you have one book that you would save from a fire. What book would that be?

Mine would be Origins by Dan Brown it’s an amazing book (not my favourite) but the fact that I got it off my daughter for my birthday. So it has more of a sentimental value than anything else.

  1. Just had a quick think about this and I can remember clearly picking up the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at primary school at age nine. I think it was the most wonderful experience entering a wardrobe of old coats and emerging into a winter wonderland. The magic has stayed with me ever since! Still don’t like Turkish Delight.

      1. Douglas Adams wrote it in 5 parts really, and it’s the most ingenious series I’ve ever read. His writing style is out of this world. Pun intended.

  2. The one book I’d save is my collection of Edgar Allen Poe’s works. He’s one of my all-time favorite authors, but also this is the first adult book I ever read and helped cultivate my love of all things weird and macabre. My mom gave it to me, and it’s been with me since I was a little kid.
