Your favourite book into a film?

Think of a book you’ve read that has you so hyped up enough to think that this book should be made into film. With your favourite actor’s as the characters. So what would yours be? I can’t wait to read people’s comments.

  1. I’d love to see a proper adaptation of the series The Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander. Disney did a movie of The Black Cauldron in 1984, combining it with the first two books, The Book of Three and the Black Cauldron, but it was a wreck. Yes, the animation was dark and beautiful, but the characterization and plot were ruined. I would love to see an adaptation that shows the well-thought-out character development in Alexander’s books, and gives the story time to develop and grow, instead of just compacting it into a mess.

      1. True, yesmoreblogs, but I don’t want a remake of The Black Cauldron, I want a different adaptation. I want all five books to be on the screen and to be true to the source material. Those other live action Disney movies are remakes of their animated movies, and they are sloppy, devoid of originanlity, being soulless cash cows.
