Strand of Faith
When the choice is between love and life, how can anyone decide?
A girl and a monk, both with extraordinary mental powers, have compelling reasons not to fall in love. But those from whom they expect support are manipulating them both because their choices will have consequences for the rest of the world.
After a stormy youth, Brother Prospero has found comfort and fulfilment in the monastery. That is, until he discovers something that forces him to reconsider his whole vocation. To follow his heart, he’ll have to face his demons again, outside the security of the monastery. Is it worth the risk? Can he beat them this time? Or will they finally destroy him?
Orphaned and mistreated, Leonie has found sanctuary and safety at the abbey. All she wants is to learn how to manage her unusual abilities so that she is not a danger to those around her. When she comes into contact with Prospero everything threatens to spiral out of her control. Whether she leaves or whether she stays, how can she possibly avoid destroying – yet again – those she has come to care about?
Abbot Gabriel is faced with an impossible choice. He can do nothing and watch the world descend into war. Or he can manipulate events and ensure peace – at the cost of two lives that he is responsible for. He knows what he has to do but is he strong enough to sacrifice those he loves?

Author Bio
Rachel J Bonner is the author of the four book Choices and Consequences series, the first of which, Strand of Faith, is due out in November 2018.
Getting a degree in engineering, followed by a career in accountancy is probably not a conventional path to becoming an author, particularly in paranormal romance. Rachel says that, although accountancy isn’t anything like as boring as everyone thinks, writing is a lot more fun. When not writing, she can be found walking in the beautiful countryside near where she lives, which has influenced much of the scenery in her books, or shooting things with her local archery club. Target shooting only, honest. Nothing to worry about.
She also enjoys swimming, eating chocolate chip cookies and growing aromatic herbs, especially thyme and rosemary. It’s no coincidence that her heroine likes the same things.
You can find out more about her books and sign up for Rachel’s newsletters at

Starting a schedule?

I apologise for the swearing even though it’s only one word. I think I may start and schedule posts feom now on. I think since I started blogging I’ve literally posted everyday and even twice a day sometimes. It was starting to get to me that I need to post everyday so people would be constantly visiting my blog.

What are your views on schedules and when is best to post? Like every 2-3 days. I would like to post everyday but starting to think that if I continue posting everyday I will actually run out of things to post 😂 and you will all be sick of me posting random crap 😂

Beard Blog #4

How’s the beard coming in great I hope.

Hopefully your maintaining your beard yourself or going to a beard professional and getting it trimmed every other haircut.

Mine is at the length now where if I goto trim it myself either I take a chunk out of and up shaving it all off or take some off then it looks uneven everywhere else.

I would like to do some beard product reviews soon. Just need to find a range of different products.

Always updating.

Thought I’d play on my PS4 while I had the house to myself (which is rare 😂) so I switch in on and go onto the download menu and the games I wanted to play on have updates. Now I have to wait for those to download and my broadband is pants and it’s going to take a while to download.

What I’m getting at is you could just switch on a console put a game in and play it straight away. Had no worries of updates etc and no waiting (I sound quite impatient 😂 )

I’m just ranting while waiting these to download. On the plus side I started a new series on Netflix so there’s always a positive 😂

Thinking of getting a custom domain?

I know I’ve only been blogging for a few weeks but I have been thinking about getting a custom domain and website through wordpress (if their any good).

I was wondering if I should give it more time and establish my blog a bit more than go ahead and do it.

What is the best company to use for hosting and creating a website. I’m not that technical with building websites but can find my away around after a while.

Beard Blog #3

So now after a few months of growing. (Atleast 3 months) you’ve eventually had a beard trim. Hopefully nothing much off and more of a beard shaping.

Now if your confident enough to do then you could try and maintain the shape your barber cut in for you.

Yes this can be daunting. As it’s just a maintenance trim you will only be taking off the fly away hairs. As you should get a beard trim with every ither hair cut. As this will give the beard time to grow if that’s your intentions.

Now onto the criticism. This is going to happen from every angle especially if people aren’t used to you having facial hair.

Depression and anxiety

Just a small blog this time. My days this week have been like a rollercoaster. I’m neither up nor down but everything seems to be pissing me off. I’m not usually an angry person I’m quite relaxed and chilled out. I can’t pinpoint why my moods is like this. Hopefully I will snap out of it soon as it’s really annoying me.

Any advice from fellow bloggers that could help.
