Thread Of Hope

Honesty is the best policy. Isn’t it?
What if your secrets are so dangerous they could destroy the one you love?

Prospero is prepared to tell Leonie most of his past – if he can find her – but one of his secrets could send her running again. Another could destroy any future they might have. And one could kill her. Dare he risk it?

Leonie is terrified of the consequences of sharing any of her past with anyone. But not even Leonie knows the secrets that her very existence contains.

Gabriel is starting to discover the secrets inherent in Leonie and they could tear the world apart. Who does he turn to, and who should he share them with? If he tells the wrong person he could seal not just Leonie’s death warrant but those of millions more.

And no one has told Leonie the mystery of her necklace. When she discovers that, will she sacrifice everything and risk all that Gabriel has been working for?

Author Bio
Rachel J Bonner is the author of the four book Choices and Consequences series, the first of which, Strand of Faith, is due out in November 2018.
Getting a degree in engineering, followed by a career in accountancy is probably not a conventional path to becoming an author, particularly in paranormal romance. Rachel says that, although accountancy isn’t anything like as boring as everyone thinks, writing is a lot more fun. When not writing, she can be found walking in the beautiful countryside near where she lives, which has influenced much of the scenery in her books, or shooting things with her local archery club. Target shooting only, honest. Nothing to worry about.
She also enjoys swimming, eating chocolate chip cookies and growing aromatic herbs, especially thyme and rosemary. It’s no coincidence that her heroine likes the same things.

My July blog

Well my month of July blogging activity has been quite quiet. This has happend due to a few factors. It’s bloddy red hot in England, I can’t be bothered todo much due to the heat and also I’ve also been decorating the house before the Mrs pops. I’ve only done a few posts and have hardly interacted with anyone in the blogging. I do apologise. I’ve had the least amount of visitors to my blog since I started. It was just over 500 visitors. I still feel blessed that I got that many.

I’ve left links to my july posts I hope you all check them out. I also like to thank everyone who came to my blog and liked/commented. Also a special thank you to all my newest followers I welcome you.

Also another special thank you to PP she has liked/commented on my posts this month again for the second time in a row. I really appreciate it. You’re probably one of the coolest bloggers I know and everyone should go and check out her blog.

I’ve obviously done more than I thought. I left the links origional way so you will have a suprise when you click on them 😂

Finally signed up to a library.

I didn’t intenionally go to the library to sign. I took my daughter to library as we usually do once a month.

My daughter likes todo some colouring in while I usually sit down and wait. Today though was different, I seen a book that I’ve wanted to read for nearly a year. So I looked at it and couldn’t believe there it was Robin Hobbs Assassins fate (I’m really excited.to read this book)

I went over and touched the book to see if it was real and ran back to the seat hoping nobody seen me. So I kept looking over my shoulder to make sure it was still there, and praying to the book gods that it was.

To my delight it was still there. So I thought to myself I better pick it up before someone else gets it. So I ran faster than Usain Bolt I grabbed the book and sat down to read it.

So now I’m thinking I’m going to have to sign up to borrow this book. I’m not going to have time to read 800+ pages in an hour. I needed to read this book and can’t wait to get stuck into it. So I thought I would sign up. It will probably save me a fortune (since borrowing books is free 😂)  the only problem now is that I don’t want to hand it back in as I have nearly all the other Robin Hobb books and this would look nice with it 🤣

Anyway if you’ve made it this far I thank you for reading my rambling 😂

How to decide what book to read next?

Now I never used to decide what book I was going to read next, unless I was reading the next book in a series.

I used to just randomly pick a book, read it and hopefully enjoy it 😁

The past few months I’ve been very fortunate by receiving books to review. Mainly e-books but the odd paperback. I have to read these and post a review before a set date that I’ve discussed with the person/s that sent me the book.

I’m not complaining (far from it) at the moment this just means I can’t read the books I really want to read. I will have to start reading more than one book at a time, or read quicker 😂

I’m really appreciative of anyone sending me a book to review.

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

Words can’t describe how good this book is, so I’m going to go with WOW!! If you like reading Sci-fi and fantasy books then this won’t disappoint. So please go and pick it up. Anyway I’m going to get on with the review instead of me rambling on how good this book actually is 😁

When you start reading this book it does take a few chapters to get in to it and even if you think it isn’t going anywhere then just hang on. So please don’t put it down. You won’t be disappointed. The character and world building is amazingly and beautifully written.

Then something starts happening and you’re hooked and you won’t be able to put it down. Kaladin in this book has been written really well to the point where I just wanted to read his chapters alone. The other characters do make up for it so don’t worry. They’re all individually well written and gel together really well.

The book will have you on your toes and second guessing yourself to what’s happening. As Brandon Sanderson is an amazing writer you will never guess what is going to happen next.

You will literally be up till early hours in the morning without even realising it ( but that’s what caffeine is for right?) Hopefully you will have the kindle version as this is a hefty sized book.

I would give this book 5/5 it is that good and definitely worth the read. If you’re a Sanderson fan then you already know how good it’s going to be and if not please give this book a try.

Has book blogging changed your reading habits?

Ever since I started blogging my reading habits have definitely changed. I was interested in reading but not as much as I am now. I probably had a tbr list with about 3 books 😂 now my tbr list is now beyond ridiculous 🤣 I don’t even want to count how many. I blame all these awesome bloggers who’s reviews make me want to buy the books.

So has your blogging adventures changed your reading habits. Maybe even changed your personal habits.

Facebook?

Hello everyone hope you’re all doing well. Just a quick question, I was wondering if anybody has used Facebook for their own blog  to possibly reach a wider audience?

Please let me know what you think or would you do this in the future .
